Before You Build

Building a Sunroom is an investment worth building it right! Before Commencing ask yourself these questions:

Will the local codes allow me to build the sunroom / shelter, I want on my property?
What size, style, and shape best fits my needs and budget?
Will the sunroom fit on my property, and where is the best location giving consideration to items such as access, roof lines, mounting installation, utilities, neighbors and general functionality of the yard?
How do I overcome the design and site limitations and how does this affect the cost?
Who will design and engineer the project providing plans, surveys, geodetics, etc?
Who will attend to all the minute details such as: demolition, tree removal, pile installation, deck installation, room construction, roof tie-ins, and site finish?
Who is responsible and why is it imperative the contractor be responsible for obtaining permits such as building, electrical, demolition, waterways, approach, occupancy, variances, & tolerances?
Who is responsible for insurance, warranty, building materials, workers compensations and liability under the Work Place Safety and Health Act legislation?
What grants are available and who will apply for them on my behalf?

And Most Importantly who will provide a comprehensive price and commit to no additional costs?
